Are You Worth It?

You think I’m joking?

I’m willing to bet that most people – at least 95% of all people don’t behave as if they are worth it.

Sure they might be able to put a dollar number on their efforts – BUT – are they really worth investing their time and effort into their health – mentally, emotionally, physically, financially and spiritually?

Our society is conditioned to believe we have a right to mistreat our bodies – it’s our right to smoke and to over eat. In fact we accept that the FDA has a right to authorize foods that slowly poison us and so we go with the flow. Does that sound like the behaviour of a person that believes they are worth it?

We believe we have a right to rot our brains watching meaningless TV. Sure it eases the pain from our day-today suffering, but again there are options, but we decide to choose the path of least effort, because it provides the least resistance. Does that sound like the behaviour of a person that believes they are worth it?

We believe we have a right to follow the teachings of men that walked the earth the same as we do, because it’s easier to follow than it is to establish our own one-on-one connection with our creator. Does that sound like the behaviour of a person that believes they are worth it?

We believe we have a right to complain and mope around when we feel we deserve more from our employees, yet we have the same opportunity to step up and start our own companies and face all those challenges and hardships they do. But of course it’s easier to complain than take the reigns and run with it. Does that sound like the behaviour of a person that believes they are worth it?

And we believe we have a right to instantaneous gratification so we buy what we want and set aside that which we need and, would do us the least harm. Does that sound like the behaviour of a person that believes they are worth it?

I ask you are you worth it – I know for my self I ain’t even half way there – BUT – just like many of you I’m gonna get around to it one day – when I’m not invincible anymore and hopefully when there’s still time?
