How to Attain Financial Independence after Fifty
FINANCIAL INDEPENDENCE AFTER FIFTY
This is a question that haunts many people over the age of fifty. They are either in debt up to their eyeballs or they haven’t been able to save a dime and are fearful that their earning days are nearing a presumable end and are concerned that their pension will not cover future expenses.
Key words PRESUMABLE END!
Well I’m here to tell you that it’s simply not true if you are willing to tap into your resources.
First off look at your accumulated resources:
1) You know lots of people
2) You’ve gained a great deal of experience and knowledge
3) You know what you like and what you are interested in
Don’t take these resources lightly - these are your tools for earning supplemental income.
So where am I going with this - NETWORK MARKETING!
OMG - I can see you gasp now. I can’t sell and besides these things only help the guy at the top to become rich! NOT TRUE!!!!
Well if Network Marketing was so bad why would these people endorse it?
Bill Clinton, Past President of the United States - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dFfDQ6iYsPM
Robert Kiyosaki, author of bestselling book, Rich Dad, Poor Dad - “As the year 2010 approaches, more people will wake up to the realization that the industrial age is over and that the rules of the world have changed forever. The network marketing industry offers a ready-made business system to anyone wanting to take control of their financial future.”
Donald Trump and Robert Kiyosaki endorse network marketing together in a book called: Why We Want You to Be Rich.
Paul Zane Pilzer, a world-renowned economist, a multimillionaire software entrepreneur, an adjunct professor, and the author of seven best-selling books - “The fortunes that will be made in the new millennium will be more intellectual distribution: educating consumers about products and services that will improve their lives. Network marketing is clearly the best vehicle we have today…”
Stephen Covey, author of The Seven Habits for Highly Effective People - “Network marketing has come of age. It’s undeniable that it has become a way to entrepreneurship and independence for millions of people.”
That being said this is your decision and your decision alone. But you need to ask yourself this one question - Would you rather be uncomfortable trying to help your friends by assisting them with something they need or would you rather be uncomfortable not being able to make ends meet in your second fifty. NOTICE how I said assisting your friends with SOMETHING THEY NEED.
If you build your own small business with a credible network marketing company, not only will they train you with proper selling principles, but they will give you support each time you are consumed by fear and hesitation.
Yes salespeople do have negative stigma attached to their profession, and the dinosaurs still roam the earth, but times have changed and the new breed of salespeople don’t try to get people to buy products - they try to help those in need find a solution to their need or problem.
Yes there are internal issues you will need to overcome, like your fear of rejection. But what if you weren’t trying to push a product, what if you weren’t putting yourself in a position to be rejected. What if your parent company was willing to teach you how to listen to your friends and acquaintances and if during that conversation you heard that they had a need for your product. You could offer them the product no strings attached. If they want it ok - if not you can respect their choice and let them decide at a later date if they want to change their own mind.
In any case there are many Network Marketing companies out there that you can build a nice residual income from and that have products that are exceptional and will help your friends - if they have a need for your product.
Here are just a few companies that have been around for years so you might want to start your research here:
ACN - offers landline telephone service (local and long distance), Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), including video phone service, dial-up and high-speed internet, satellite television, cellular phone, and home security services, primarily to consumers, and secondarily to small businesses.
Avon - offers product lines that include makeup, bath and skin lotions, anti-aging cream, perfumes, as well as jewelry and clothing.
Amway (Quixtar) - offers Nutrilite dietary supplements, XS Energy Drinks, personal care, home care, air and water purifiers and Artistry cosmetics.
Juice Plus+ - offers dietary supplements containing concentrated fruit and vegetable extracts as well as other plant based dietary supplements.
Disclaimer - Please do your own research on Network marketing companies as new information arises daily and all businesses may or may not work for you – Even Toyota is having a tough go today!

Thanks for this - I have never seen or heard anything positive about Network marketing. Just goes to show I need to do some research on my own!!
I also thank you for this. I’ve been enjoying Network Marketing since Time Warner and AOL merged and kicked me to the curb. Way too many people have a bad taste in their mouths when it comes to Network Marketing. As they say, “a few bad apples”. Just make sure you find a good Company with a product or line of products that you are emotional about. Number 3 on your list of companies is questionable in my opinion (bad taste from their past record). I’d replace said company with NuSkin or my current project at goingbig dot net. Can’t vouch for ACN but Avon and Juice Plus+ are solid choices. Best Regards - Steven
