Most of us give away information about ourselves each day — sometimes knowingly and other times when we do not even realize it. You are your best privacy protector. It pays to:

 

* Be Aware * Be Assertive * Be an Advocate 

Be aware of how and when you give out personal information. Identify theft is one of the fastest growing crimes in North America numbering into the millions each year.
